oil leaking from oil cap
i have noticed there is a fair amount of oil coming from the oil cap. I have called BMW parts and its £12 for a new one should this solve the problem and do i need to also buy the rubber part under the cap ? Also how do i remove the old cap ?

Sure its a leak and someone hasnt just made a mess of filling up?
Might as well replace the rubber bit underneath, but i suspect thats only there to seal onto the engine cover. |

might have been that, i have cleaned everything up as best i can and have just left the engine cover off so i can keep an eye on it.
i take it this wouldn't be safe to jet wash this part of the engine with the engine cover off ? |
