Navigation says Insert dvd buts its still in

Today my nav told me to insert the dvd, but its still i. When i press the releasebutton it wont do anything. The radio and cd player works fine....Any ideas?

i took everything apart and found out that the flatcable (the bigger one) who goes to the rom was a little damaged. its working for now but its just a matter of time i would say. Any ideas where i can get this cable?

i had this issue after i bought my CPO'd E90 a couple years ago. the DVD nav disc was scratched to hell. tried out a buddy's disc and it worked. you need a replacement disc. the cost from the dealer didn't justify buying it from them so i did some searching on the interwebz and found a "less expensive" alternative.

Is this the cable from the mainboard to the frontdisplay to the unit? mine is missing therefore i can now not use the buttons ...anyone an idea?
