Pulled over for windshield tint?
Today I was minding my business with my daughter at the park. We go to leave and see a cop sitting in the corner. And I think nothing of him at all.
Soon as I pass him he pulls me over. He tells me I'm am being stopped for improper window tint on my windshield. I have Maryland legal tint, and never applied tint to the windshield. He proceeded to give me to other tickets not related to the tint. The tint was just a warning go figure., so do I have a case here? Rather annoying he made and excuse to pull me over for my crystal clear windshield tint.(I'm aware of a light factory tint if any that most cars have.) I guess if his reason for pulling you over was due to tint, then he found other things, than yes you might have a case, but IMO ask a lawyer not us.

That is fucked up I must say. He was probably just another jealous Infinity owner or worse, he owns a IS250 and other cops laugh at him for driving a chick car.

Sorry other tickets
- not having registration on me 50.00(I found after he left) - warning for tags expired yesterday(sticker) I'll post a photo my windshield it's legal. And the rest of my car is legal tint as well. I just think its b.s he didn't get out a meter, or anything to even approach the windshield to look. |

The registration will be thrown out. bring it in and case will be dismissed. He didn't do anything wrong it was probable cause. They can say anything or do anything but they need to prove it with the gun they use to measure it. I'm not sure but that's fine you didn't get any tickets at all. TWO warnings and a citation for something you didn't even have when you should've.
What was the point of this thread? Why the cop give you a warning on tints? You should be lucky he did they can really write you up for anything. DWB? Driving While Black maybe. |

I think they can waive having registration paper on you if you can prove them you found it after officer left.
Expired tag is expired tag. Can't help you there. |

I was reversed into my spot, and he pulled out the second I left. There was no way he noticed the stickers that fast. The boot of my car is pretty dirty arm, and he didn't mention the tags til last.

Well if you had the registration you would have gotten zero tickets!!! You are still at fault. Thread is pointless.

Germans come in other colours too you know. The first sentence gave you up. No one in the wrong is "minding their own business", when you're out in the rain you're gonna get wet. |
