any chance you can scout out the top parking log of bloomingdales at tysons I this Sat. I drove there during the week and seems like the top floor is vacant most of the time since no one wants to walk and use the stairs to go to the mall. This parking is the one near accross from Tiffanys and the gas station on Route 7 as you drive in from the road. if you can take photos, that would be great! ps. or maybe Wachovia parking lot on Rt 123 and Rt 7 that should be wide open on Sunday!

yes...I think we should commandeer an office lot. It'll be empty and no mall rent-a-cops to contend with. Alternatively, Bav any school lots we can access? If anyone works in a building in and around Tysons or Reston and knows the management enough to grant us exclusive access to the lot on a Sunday, that'll be great

yeah! with the plates, good propaganda as a return favor to them
I left you a voice mail, Passport made mention maybe meeting at Passport parking lot first, but the facilities is closed. They can have the lot cleared for us just to hangout and meet one another, appreciate our cars, then maybe rally to clydes or whatever. Once at the dinning place in Va, Passport can give out e90 appreciation gadgets and raffle the Jacket to one lucky participant. So KL you need to finalized it and your option are a. meet at Tyson II as plan and rally to your eatery b. meet at another place at Tysons and rally to your eatery c. or take Passport offer to meet at there lot, rally to your eatery, and raffle the BMW jacket The choices are those, Ive done all that I could. Bring it to the other Thread (Poldims) Last edited by ase2dais; 05-18-2006 at 11:57 AM.. |

So we meet at Passport then scoot on over for lunch at Clydes (as arranged by Geeslice) and then off for some spirited driving/convoying/Lexus or Audi dealer harrasment followed by a coffee break and then split up? Is that the gist of the plan? What about the inverse of it, we meet at Tysons as planned, have lunch and work ourselves back to Passport for pics/gift bags and other festivities..
Either way, I am 110% with it. Ase, I know you mentioned that Passport's facilities will be closed...please elaborate? Would we have access to restroom/vending machine facilities? Also, sorry missed your call...

Yves Badji said today the bldg would be close, but he could have the lot cleared for our cars. Yves can also be there. (theres restaurant for bathrooms closeby I think) So, we can take our time checking each others cars, and maybe a good photo shoot with those plates infront of the dealeship to use in their newsletter, is just fair to return a favor dont you think. Maybe meet there at 10:00-10:30am. I like to sit in an M3 maybe test drive one.
It helps our E90 CA, justify future support for our activities, we think. Shim can take his time shooting with his tripod while we meet one another and check out our cars. Maybe leave there at 11am as Poldim suggested and rally to the dinning place, and along the way pass by a lexus/Infiniti dealership for a photo op! as you suggested. There a Infiniti on Van Dorn at Picket Street, and Lexus at King St on the way. Continue the Rally to Geeslice suggested place, where Passport presents the E90 Appreciation Gifts, while we eat and before we leave We raffle the Jacket! to one lucky Bimmerista! and you re done! success! I'll leave the final details to you! lotsa lotsa of photos for our photo album. Everyone can created there own at e90 Region-Mid-Atlantic (remember that is exclusively ours now, thks to Jason. we have to leave something for the next group of folks that will be doing this: maybe they can continue the jihadist attack with other dealership. At least now, we got the Audis, this wkend we'll do the lexus or infinitis, next they could do Acuras lolz)

Ok sounds good...its a wrap, will work on the PM blitz then.
