Problem with fuel injector

Hi
Wonder if any one can help.
I have a 2005 320d e90 auto.
Iv jus has a replacement turbo, after replacing the garage is telling me my injectors have burned out, therefore need replacing. I bought 4 injectors of eBay which have come off a 2006 320d e90. The garage has put them in but car isn't starting. I'm now told the codes are different on the replacement injectors, therefore won't work. Is this possible?

Yes, it can. Every part you change, has to have same code as the part that has gone bad. For some parts there might be 2 different codes, because factory made some mods to the parts. Check realoem.com page for injector's code, if it doesn't match then look for those that do.

Thank you for shining light on this matter.
Can I also ask, do i have to code the injectors to my car, because I'm told the injectors need to be "coded in"?
