How do I remove the piece that's circled in red? I assume that is one of the attachment point for the air scoop?

hey...thats the same exact issue I came across...that lil ball that you see in the middle is a pin that goes straight down that plastic 'screw' for lack of a better word sorry. use a pair of plyers and grab the head of that pin straight up. And yes that is ones of the attachment points for the air scoop.

once that's removed you can remove your grill...and press the ends of the 'screw' together and push that up and your home free. jus pm me if you have any questions.

Hey everybody.... I installed my red scoops used to have black ones from cyba. I know there arent many installed red scoop pix let alone cyba installed red ones, so I did a quick lil comparison for all to see, this should help you make your decision. the pix are with and without flash choose your flavor. And the 3 dot that you see on the bumper are from the front license plate the car used to have

Also is the DIY on making my grill look mat black...here the link if anybody wants to do it...I suggest doing it if you dont want to fork out $55 for grills that your not sure about. I would suggest everybody to go with black grill something other than OEM...it really compliments the scoops. thank again CYBA!!! Feel free to use these pix Cyba.

Thanks for the info twinturbopg. I finally got it figured out.

What really sucks is that I got everything disassembled and found out that the outer most left and right screw holes do not line up! Mother fcuker!! I don't have a drill! Has anyone ever received one that doesn't line up?

was overseas for a few days didnt have time to check my pms. just got back and im beat need to get some rest will reply to pms soon

BTW all BLACK SCOOPS ARE SOLD.
I only have red in stock. If you want black scoops just paint them yourself with spray can its easy and results will look just as good...cant hardly see the scoops anyways behind the grills. Not sure when ill have black ones again so you might want to think about getting the red ones now.

Cheers!

Do these even do anything or is it more for aesthetics?

^^open your hood and take a picture right above the front grills maybe I can see if they fit or not by looking at the mounting locations. take a picture about 3 feet away from the top not too close
