Is it possible to change the bulbs on a e90 335i, on some post I hear you can and the way to do it is through the wheel well, others say no its not possible just to change the bulb. I just wanted to change color to something more whiter instead that orange looking stuff.

Yes you can change the bulbs but if you are looking to change the color from yellow to more of a white it is more than a bulb change.

pre-LCI or LCI?

If you have a PRE LCI (07-08) then you go through the wheel well

LCI 09-11 then it can be done from the top, just open hood and the cap is there, its a tight fit.

I've been interested in this too. Seems like so many options out there. I'm looking for whiter bulbs as well, but also want to get something that doesn't need coding once they are installed. What seems to be the most popular choices? I've seen the Lux and the ones at BMS, any suggestions?

yeah mine is a pre lci, was thinking about going with some 7000k bulbs. But yeah I already know that I have to get something that wont throw codes.
