I have a leased e90.. If I upgraded to these, do you think BMW Financial or my dealer would have a problem with it?

It's a 1 hr DIY tops... so very easy to reverse and resell your blacklines.

No they dont, they are the same as OEM in every way, except for black colour of plastic behind the reverse lights and clear lenses on turn signal.

nzproject,

I installed my depo blacklines last month and very happy, i think it it better than the OEM because it also looks smoke (darker)... not sure if it is your preference... mine is Jetblack so it compliments a lot... I think if your car is black or white or tinted.. it will look good..

This is how the Blacklines look on my Sparkling Graphite E90. The other piece is a AC Carbon wing before I put on the lights.

My lease is up on my '06 325xi, which I put blacklines on. I am getting a '09 328xi. It looks like the tail lights are different on the '09s. Does anyone know if there are OEM blacklines available for the '09s?

Just installed my blacklines today and noticed that the fitment doesn't seem as good as the stock tail lights. There seems to be more gap around the tail lights and vehicle. Is this normal?

I had to play around with the alignment for about 10 minutes to get it spot on. Only hand tighten the bolts as they can strip easily!

Here's a set of OEM Blacklines on my Jerez Black M3. I think they look pretty good. They are very quick and easy to install.

Whitelines?

Ive got a Sparkling Graphite car, and i like the taillights to stand out, just a preference, so i was wondering if any of you knew anything about gettin whitelines rather than blacklines? I saw a DIY about it on another thread, but it looked kind of complicated for me.
Here are some aftermarket lights that look like they might be more white/clearlines than blacklines.

http://www.ilovebodykits.com/product...il_Lights.html

http://forums.motivemag.com/zerothread?id=4240228

I actually like the idea of getting LED lights in back, but would you guys reccomend me putting these on, or do you think they would look cheap / throw codes / not hold up? Also, if you had any knowledge as to why the prices are so different between the 4 that would help a lot too. Thanks

Is it really easy to install? does the on board computer show a fault if you change to blacklines?

It is very easy to install. Please check the first page to find the DiY. There are OEM BMW ones and aftermarket ones, but both should not throw codes. If they do, you just swap the bulbs from the old tail lights into the blacklines.

I've been looking and reading at this thread for the last 3 days. I read some people saying that depo are as good as OEM. I am still not convinced of it. Can anyone post more pics of depo and OEM for comparison.

Thanks

I've got DEPOs, which I installed yesterday. Some of the bits are plastic compared to metal on the OEMs. However, the difference dosen't seem that noticeable. I'm pretty satisfied (However I think they should be cheaper, but what can I say, I'm a cheap scape)
Pics tomorrow maybe?

Also, I really like the darker DEPO look compared to the normal blacklines, but my car is black. Just something to consider.
