Get it done! The guy that does it there is very good. He does a great job on the dot matrix. I've seen his work and I'd recommend him.

Is it really that good that I would want to pay $230!? Do you know if they outsource it to a different shop, or is it inhouse? |

there's a forum sponsor selling TyreGuardian. It prevents leakage when the tire gets punctured. |

Also (if you dont mind used tires) - You can try going to Tire 59 on Hwy 59 and Chimney Rock
They normally have our OEM tires with 80 - 90 % tread. They sell a pair (2) for $350 mounted and balanced depending on condition. I'm still contemplating whether or not I want to get RunFats as well... |

hey ya'll
so my wife rear ended my car last week.. she was following me in her SUV and accelerated before I did when the light turned green anyways, I am going to use this opportunity to upgrade to mtech.. so for the rear bumper I'm only going to pay the difference in price.. front bumper and rocker panels, I'm planning on buying from Tischer, altogether it will be about $1.5k Now I took the car to eurocar-werk to ask how much it will cost me.. they quoted me $1000 for painting and installing the front bumper and rocker panels.. $850 for the painting and $150 for installation labor.. Does this price sound reasonable? And do anybody has any comment about this shop and/or other recommendations??

Hi Folks!
I've been lurking the site for a few weeks. Traded my 535 for a new MDX (the wife's suv)this past weekend, and traded my commuter 09 rabbit for a 2011 Alpine 328. Can't wait to mod it and meet some other e90 folks. I used to organize all the drift events in Texas until about 2009 when we had a baby and I ran out of time. I got the basic 3 with premium and convinience package. I'm thinking of getting coils and wheels first, then m-tech. I'm starting to research the coils, how do the KW's ride? I'm not looking for mad performance, but I do want a really nice drop. Thanks! Alex |

It's done in house (at least it used to be), and you get what you pay for. I've had those $99 and $129 tint jobs in the past. $230 tint job on a 50K + Bimmer isn't bad.

i use british body repair. i've been using them for the past 10 years or so. they're a bit far for most people, but like i said complacency compels me to keep going back. but they do a fantastic job and very reasonably priced 16326 Boss Gaston Rd, Sugar Land, TX 77498 Ken is the owner he knows me as Nick, the chinese guy who had the mini cooper that now drives the AW 3. |

Tires Rotation
Ok guys, so my tires' sizes are:
235/35/19 265/30/19 It is that time where I reached 8k miles with them, and for them to last longer, the right thing is to do is rotate them. How do I deal with this since they are staggered. Do I just move them from left to right, or do I just leave them like that until they get old so I can get new ones? Thanks. |

HPD galveston Fun Run
S! H.I. Members, Staff, Friends, and Performance Import Drivers.
Houston Performance Driving.com (HPD) will be hosting one of the largest cruises of the year. HPD invites you to join us for the South Coast Fun Run to Galveston Island. Past HPD G-Town runs have always been +150 to 300 rides. Performance domestics/imports, sport trucks, 4x4 show trucks, and power bikes. Please join HPD for one of the best cruises you'll have all year. I. South Coast Fun Run Outline: - There will be (2) meeting locations. (1) NORTH side meeting location and (1) South side meet location. - North side will rally up with the South side. - After safety/route briefing the group will move to Lake Jackson for a pit stop at Buc-ee's for a fuel/refreshment/restroom break. - The cruises will continue on to Surfside Beach where the cruise will turn up (NORTH) the Bluewater Highway to Galveston Island. - TOLL BRIDGE: It will be $2 to cross the toll bridge per ride. HPD has a system that will get everyone through the bridge in 15 mins. We have done this with +300 rides and it works every single time. It will be explained at the SOUTH side meet location. - Once on Galveston Island we will stop for eats/drinks @ The Spot on The Seawall. Once on location the top section of The Spot will be RSVP'd anyone on the cruise. Full lunch menu and full bar service as well. After you eat feel free to enter any of the bars at The Spot. Take this time to meet others from the cruise and discuss the event. - Take your time and return to Houston at your leisure. There will be no return cruise to the Houston Area. Please be safe on your return trip home. II. South Coast Fun Run NORTH/SOUTH Meet Locations/Times: - NORTH SIDE meet location: (Address = 23750 US 59 North Kingwood, TX 77339) The massive parking lot between Kingwood Dr. and North Park Dr. Next to Texas Road House. - NORTH SIDE meet time & roll out: Meet @ 10am w/ 10:45am roll out. - SOUTH SIDE meet location: (Address = 2808 Business Center Dr, Pearland, TX 77584) The Hobby Lobby on 518 W @ 288 S. - SOUTH SIDE meet time & roll out: Meet time @ 11am w/ Noon roll out.
