Would m3 rep bumper voids warranty?

Hello. I just recently placed an order for the m3 rep bumper to be installed on my 09 335 xi coupe. My car up to this point is all stock. I read that the brake ducts will have to be trimmed somehow to fit the bumper. Would that void my warranty?

Kidding, cosmetic changes like that does not void a warranty. It doesn't interefere with any mechanical elements.

No.... well the dealer would have to elabarate on how your mod caused that particular part to break.

I dont see how adding a M3 rep would do that so NO.

i could see them complaining about the brake ducts affecting your oil cooler, which affects the engine

but that's nitpicky

yeah i am serious and this question is silly, I know. At least I know it won't be much of a problem. My car's warranty will expire in august next year. Another question is when you want to cpo your modded car with the dealership, would they be okay with the mod as long as you pay the cpo package price?

my car doesn't have the sport package with 18 inch wheels so pretty sure it does not have the oil cooler. Would a trimmed brake ducts cause any other problems?

You sure hold true to your username! Joking haha...

Anyway, I have modded numerous parts on my car including a rear performance bumper and have not had issues... You are honestly fine.
