All guys with JB3 and new dpfix , please help.

What have u adjusted the o2 sims to ?

i installed my catless dp's and intercooler today .... drove home 1hour and a half to my house...then drove away to make some woots and try out the new stuffs , still no problem....

but after heading out again to drive around in the town, normally , no woots or something like that , and on my way back home , i got the Engine icon on the dashboard ...

anyone know what that can be ? should i be worried ?

You need to scan the DME and erase the codes. You likely need to adjust the strength on the DP fix too. Increase strength (counter clockwise) about 15 degrees.

FIX: Delete before service!

29F4 29F5:
29F4 Catalytic converter conversion
29F5 Catalytic converter conversion 2
EXPLANATION: Cats removed or damaged.
FIX: Reinstall or repair cats, it is illegal in the USA to drive without them.

i have the v2 ,i got the engine light, the guys at vs motorsports scanned it for me then it never came back.

one notch at a time. There are notches on the dial. delete 2D18 as that is a tuner code, not related to your o2 sim issue.

which way should i adjust to ... from 6o'clock to 7 or 5 o'clock ? left or right ...

From support BMS dpfix , Terry actually mentioned counter clockwise if you look at the controller with wires facing away from ( i would actually look at it with wires facing me) :
With the wires facing away from you, counter-clockwise is stronger, with 1pm being the
strongest setting, while clockwise is weaker, with 11pm disabling the FPFIX all together.
Set the DPFIX to 6pm to start. If it is too strong, you will trigger 2C31/2C32 codes via
the BT. If it is too weak, you will trigger 29F4/29F5 codes via the BT. Once you trigger
2C31/2C32 codes it can be a challenge to get them to clear. Lower the DPFIX v3 setting
1/8 turn, clear all codes, and reset oxygen sensor/lambda adoptions in the command
section. Once 2C31/2C32 codes are triggered they will continue to come back even after
the DPFIX v3 has the appropriate setting, until the ECU runs a series of internal checks.
So rack up the miles on each setting. 4-5 miles is not enough, more like 20-30 miles of
varied driving.

every car is different and everybody has different software versions. you need to test the settings for yourself. Try at 7 first and see how it goes.

i was hoping to avoid any error codes as i just installed the BMS v3 O2 fix with catless AR dps and AE exhaust. everything was fine driving around all through the weekend, then today on my way to work i get the service engine soon light. now i need to purchase a BT tool to find out what the issue is...hoping its just the O2 sim needs adjustment.

there must be guys having the latest software from bmw and running jb3 with the latest fix.
and i have to strenghten the o2 sims , then i have to go to 5 , not 7 ... 7 is weaker ...

i just finished installing the downpipes and exhaust this past friday...drove the car friday-sat-sun....then on my way to work today got the engine light.

yeah the new version. i have no idea what software version i have. guess this may take some trial and error with getting it adjusted correctly. just gives me an excuse to buy the BT tool i guess.
