19" 220 M3 Style Wheels on 2006 330i
I recently installed 220 M3 Style wheels on my e90 2006 330i. I purchased a square set of OEM 19x8.5 ET29. I was worried about rubbing and if I would need fender work, however with a little help from rick_vor and remmib I was confident they would fit and they do with little to no rubbing and no fender work. I'm liking the look. I considered buying replica 18" rims but went with the OEM 19s and in my opinion it was a good decision. Hope this helps. Take a look.

Great pics! I am looking at the same type of rims for my 2011 328i. Did you go OEM or are the replica? If replica where did you buy them? Have you noticed a big difference in the 19in? I currently have 17in run flat and was wondering how the ride would be with 19's.
thanks! |

Great wheels! probably my favorite OEM wheel. Good to know they fit. Cant believe you got a 245 on there. I would have gone 235 or 225s. might have to source a set for myself now!

@wdeerfield, Sorry I am not sure what OEM square and did four fronts means. I am new to the BMW world. Had a truck for years and trying to learn the lango.

Hi - OEM is original equipment or stock parts. A square set means they are not staggered or different width rims. These wheels are from a 3-series M3 vehicle. The M3 front rims are 8.5" wide and the rears are 9.0" (I believe). The 9" rims would not fit within my wheel wells without rolling the fenders so I purchased 4 8.5" wide rims or 4 fronts. I hope that answers your question.

I had some initial rubbing in the front as a result of a seam in the wheel well liner. The seam created a non-structural ridge that protruded downward into the wheel well. The tires contacted it and shaved it down a few millimeters and I haven’t experienced any contact or rubbing since.
