it's normal to lose boost after upgrading to a bigger intercooler, but not that much.

weird issue, but check the diverter valves....

Bad maf maybe?

On my old VR turbo I could only hold 5 psi, changed the maf and i was boosting like normal again.

I ll go to the shop this week end... work on it... unistall all, may be install the stock one to c if everything else it s good.... if boost go up, i ll reinstall the HPF intercooler... being very carefull and miticulous... and tight hard everything... test again, before i finish the reassembly... and we ll c...
I ll be back with results... let u guys know.... ANd if anyone got new ideas on wut it could be, let me know.... thx....

well do the e90 have a MAF? and if yes where?
i changed the diverter valves for a AA BOV. can that go bad too? how can i check that one? I luv illustarted if u can help... I was listenting to the BOV the other nite when i tesst in MAP 0 and i heard it release pressure around 7.7..... why?
