He provided splitters with no instructions whatsoever...He said via PM that he was doing a FAQ on the install..and that was Friday last week. No response yet. I just want to know how to install the front splitters I got from him..just with the double sided tape underneath the red? It doesnt look secure enough that way.

Did they come with the pre-drilled holes? My carbon splitters I got from him had two holes predrilled for the bumper bolts. They matched up perfectly. If yours arent pre-drilled, theres a template floating around here somehwere, otherwise its not hard to figure it out on your own. Im going to have to redo the double stick tape though, they are totally coming apart on the sides. Its very low quality double stick tape I think.

When installing, start from the outter edge then move your way inward. I stuck the outside part, then held the upper and lower flaps apart and slid it on the bumper. Im thinking that a nice quick spray of soapy water would help slide it in place a bit better and then stick when it dries. Definitely having the bumper bolts in place makes me feel a bit more confident though.

I got my splitters from carking ( Im pretty sure they are the same mold anyway) I added thin 3m tape and make sure you leave a lead so you can take the tape off.Its so sticky that it can get stuck in the wrong place easy.So I made a solution of 50% windex and 50% water and lightly misted it on the bumper. It evaporates quickly so get in in place lift it a little so it can completely evaporate and stick it on.You can use one of the bolts on one side but the other side is too thick for the bolt to reach.Either get another bolt or remove the bolt and rely on the tape.I hope this helps.

Got them on...but like people said..the double sided tape needs to be stronger..and in my case..the passenger side one doesnt fit as well as the driver side. I will post pics after I wash the car...I didnt want to get the tape wet..so my car hasnt been washed in a few days.

What I really want is my group buy Morr Alloy wheels to compliment these splitters...CARLOS ?????????

One issue I forgot to mention...the most median portion of the splitters...near where the license plate should be...the paint has worn off there..and one other spot...it this was just due to handling these during installation. In otherwords..painting could have been done better on the set I got. Not sure if this is universal or not..just want everyone to know what my experience was.

I think I gotta get some touch up paint to fix this.

I pretty much agree with you. It looks like there was only one coat of paint and a clear coat. There should have been at least 2 coats.
But, I guess you get what you pay for.

Argh I'm still waiting for mine to come in.

Glad you have them on finally! Post pics when you can!

Did your stock screws fit ok or did you have to buy some longer ones?

Bavdom is no longer a Vendor here.

He is NOT responding to my PMs as I want a refund, as the fitment of my splitters is unacceptable to me.......

So, what to do ?

Ya splitter install is pretty easy. Here are pix of the splitters I got from Carking.

Pretty good fitment, added more 3M tape myself too and used the pre-drilled holes to secure it.

He's still a vendor. He just didn't pay his bill on time--just like everything else--not on time.

I really like the splitters, but it's obvious that they either don't have enough man power, or they are just realy really slow.
