Black 135i. Car had an M badge in front of the 135i on the rear.

Pulled over for tint. It was pretty unclear from the story how it unfolded, but apparently the passenger was cuffed and then tasered (while cuffed). He was pretty scuffed up. They found a marijuana pipe or something on one of them and both had medical marijuana cards.

If what those kids said are all true, that officer should be put in jail.

Should you be surprised coming from that part of town? Sometimes people tend to abuse a little power of authority.

Regardless of the specifics of this situation, it's high time (now that we have the technology for it) for all police actions to be video captured. They will fight that with all they've got, though. In this case, if it had been video taped and the officers were correct, they would be immediately exonerated. And in the case that this was excessive force, the citizenry would be protected.

I have a feeling that after the lawsuit, that kid wont have to put an M badge on the back of his car because he will be able to buy one that already comes with it!

I have to say that this does appear to be at least partially racially motivated. I have told some of you guys about the shit that has happened to me in my cars. Police are just not used to seeing brown people in nice cars. That is really messed up. The one and only time I got pulled over in the M (for going 11 over) the first thing the cop asked me is "who's car is this?". Not "license and registration". The only thing that saves my ass ever is my military ID card.

I've always told myself that if I ever got pulled over (knocking on wood), I would turn the recording "on" my iphone to alteast capture everything vocal.

Honestly, I bet the cop smelled weed got them all out and then made the bust... It's not uncommon that people don't try to resist while with others... I bet someone mouthed off and that's what happens. People are stupid... You may not respect the police but you will respect the gun / taser. People seem to forget that marijuana is still technically "illegal" by federal law. Just sayin. I doubt they will get anywhere in court.

I know that kid. Me and Andrew talked to him at the Gas Station before bandimere. He was at circle drags at Driftoberfest at CNS 2 weekends ago.
