Finally Lowered - H&R Sport

Hey guys,

I spent a lot of time working on the car this weekend. All day both on Saturday and Sunday. First installing a set of H&R sports and then a full interior and exterior detail.
Many many hours in the garage and damn it felt good!

Its a funny kind of feeling that I've had up until now with the 335i. My attitude about any of my cars is altered for the better after lowering them. Its like I can finally take this car a little more seriously now. It looks just how I wanted, subtle drop - not slammed and on the ground. It handles better as far as I can tell from 1 night of driving. Its a bit stiffer, body roll is reduced and turn in feels sharper. I'll give it a few weeks before I have a stronger opinion.

And a link to my build thread. I posted a few pictures of the install. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=892136

Hey Nick the drop came out great and the pics look awesome as always. Only thing I would suggest are spacers for the rear. Either than that she looks amazing!

Clean and simple! Great pics as well!

A spacer in the back wouldn't hurt either :P

Thanks. I didnt have my tri-pod + night shots = grainy. I have to start shooting more. Monaco is an incredible color but really hard to photograph.

Allen!
I have a 10mm spacer laying around but I wanted to see if it rubs before throwing that on. I found out it does rub but only during WOT and full lock lol. Otherwise, the ride is nice. Not to stiff at all but much tighter than stock.

I'll look into rolling my rears and then see how I feel.

If you just did it over this past weekend then it'll drop even more after it settles. Which shocks are you using to go with them, OEM?

Very nice, this is LeMans Blue, right? BBS CH wheels are totally bossin' it!

Post again in couple of weeks after the springs settle. Just want to see how low yours get, cuz mine is pretty slammed (same springs).

Looks great, I love the wheels and the ride height, looks like maybe a 5mm or 10mm spacer would make it really flush.

Nothing wrong with that! The red tails are definitely unique. Just keep an eye on the classified section. I picked my Blacklines up for $250, and they're great!
