just ordered a set! excited to see these installed

ordered them on monday, got them friday.. great service, i hope I'm not hijiacking the thread in posting this, but if you're OCD.. u MIGHT b a lil disappointed here..

the pictures r misleading, the outer ring is a lot dimmer than the inner rim, thus making them look almost a different color from close, the further u get away from the headlights the better they look... i put my car side by side with the stock white AE and from far away diff is minimal, but up close, expect people to notice.. I had 2 diff people at my job tell me they thought the color was off, but it was during the day and we were looking close..

although a bit pricey, they simply are the best PnP ones you can get, and the service/people are great, so don't let the above scare you off, just depends what kind of person u r.. im learning to live with it, and knowing now that more people experience this, i feel better..

This has been covered over and over again in this thread or any other threads about angel eyes, for years. This is due to design of the rings. It is this way regardless of what bulb you use. Under normal circumstances while your car is running, no one will be standing right next to it staring at your angel eyes.

Thank you again for the explaination. This is correct in that the outer ring is designed to only be viewable from certain angels. This is also true with the stock bulbs that come with the car, but often times you dont notice these things till after you change the bulb to something different.

I've had my LUX V3 Angel Eyes for about a year and a half and really couldn't be happier with them.

Recently one of the bulbs malfunctioned (looked like the circuit board fried) but LUX was great about getting it fixed and fast. I have a 2011 e90 in Space Gray and they look great on my car compared to the yellow bulbs that came stock.

Our LU XH8 V3's have been available for over a year now but they are still the brightest on the market and there are not plans for a V4. Thank you

just installed the H8 v3 tonight and am very happy with the outcome. installation was very simple and am very satisfied with how bright they came out.
