Aftermarket Wheels On Lease..can I Still Get New Brakepads?

I put 20" Donz on my e93 but im leasing. Now im getting a Brake warning sign and i think my brake pads need to be changed in the rear. If i take it to the dealership will they still replace my brakepads under warranty?... If i put the factory wheels on... but they still had to drill to put the Donz on. All your info is greatly appreciated.

Im sorry, but what did they have to drill?

More then likely your fine even with those rims, but if you want to be on the safe side, sure, put the OEM rims back on for the day

sounds like it depends on what you drilled
just the rims on its own won't stop you from getting new pads under warranty

I've had after market wheels since I bought the car and never had a problem with the dealership. They replaced both my front and rear brakes under warranty and no issues.

Can't imagine what you had to drill to install wheels. I suppose if the dealer is a prick he could say that the wheels are too big for the car and made the pads wear out prematurely. Whether or not he has a valid argument is another story, but he certainly could make the experience unpleasant...
