19" alloys with non run flats - pressures
Sorry guys I know this has been done to death but I've been getting so many contradicting opinions from my searches.
I have just changed my 17" BMW alloys with run flats to 19" alloys with non run flats. Tyre sizes are 235 35 19 front and 265 30 19 rear. I put 35psi in the front and 39psi in the rear but no I can clear the pressure error I keep getting on the dash. Can someone wiith a similar set up comment on their pressures please and if you had any problems with the pressure sensor? |

I haven't got idrive. Looking through the manual I couldn't find anything about resetting the TPM.

You don't have tyre pressure monitor, you have flat tyre monitor. It just needs resetting.
This sounds right for non idrive http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9507 |

I imagine you have to run slightly higher pressures due to the weight of the E91. |

Pressures are on the door card. Standard for my E91 is 36f / 40r. Loaded it's 39f/45r! Every car is different depending on body and engine.

My tyre pressures for the 330d M Sport LCI on 18s are:
Normal: 39 PSI (2.7 Bar) 44 PSI (3.0 Bar) Fully Laden: 45 PSI (3.1 Bar) 50 PSI (3.5 Bar) which are higher than my pre-LCI 330d. However, I've just had new non run flats fitted and initially set them to the above pressures but they dont suit the tyre IMO. The steering seemed to get quite heavy and turning the wheel seemed like driving through treacle the steering was that stiff! Weird. The steering just seemed to have a tendency to want to return back to the centre position all the time. So I've set them at 35 and 41 and this seems fine. Its not a big change in pressure but I've just done 5 days in the Lake District and very happy with these pressures. Of course the pre-LCI is different as the base door plate pressures are different in the first place. |

I run 36f and 39r on 19s non rfts. Tyre pressure is to a certain degree somewhat subjective and dependent on lots of varying factors I used to run 39f 42r but found the ride to harsh. Tyre wear at both sets of pressures is even. Grip is also similar for the driving i do.

Hi, this is my first post, just trying to get three so that I can start a new thread concerning wheels. But whilst I'm here does anyone else experience inner edge wear on there tyres? Thanks and sorry if its slightly off topic
