Bimmian interior LED

How's the filament light bulb compare to the high power led light bulb? is it worth the extra 40 bucks? I am afraid the led bulb will be too bright for me? I want a decent look.

The LED high output is very popular as most people usually opt for the LED version. It's worth the extra $40 IMHO.

I would advise against the bimmian bulbs until they get things straightened out. I have the dome light problems, and it's a real joke when people try and turn on a map light and they are unable to. They will work for a few seconds, and are then unresponsive until i turn the car off. I really do not like the lights due to these problems. It's a real shame because they really look sweet.

Bimmian: please fix these problems. They are really obnoxious and I am definitely not the only one to have them.

+1 It's been about 2 years and the problems are still in full affect. Search and you'll find why not to buy Bimmian's products. Not only will the bulbs burn out but it will BURN AND MELT the lighting fixture. It's happened on my friends car, I saw it personally. The trunk light is the main problem with the burn and melt issue....wow......you'd think they would test the products first right?

I'm not against the look of the bulbs, they are pretty bright & give off a very nice look...but it's not worth the future problems that WILL occur.

Oh Btw, Kenny. I just wanted to point out the past and current problems that these lights have so members don't get stuck in a bad situation. I'm sorry if it does hurt your sales but you would not want to sell a product to a customer that will have potential problems right? That would cause more headaches for the consumer and yourself. Although, Bimmian claims that their bulb replacement service is fast & convient, I can personally say it's not. I can post my experience if you'd like some input on how it went but I won't now.

Again, I just wanted to post this so there are no hard feelings...just want to help the community out to steer away from certain products.

No worries and I appreciate the input. On certain cars the dome lights will not work correctly with LED. If that happens those bulbs can be swapped out for the filament bulbs. That's been working out fine in most cases.

Honestly, they work fine...the color & output is amazing. It's just the long term affects that will be PITA later on.

The filament version is fine and shouldn't cause any problems.
