Why shouldn't you make a joke out of everything. In this case you obviously diddn't know and weren't trying to upset anyone so whats the issue.

but to be fair he said exam....but really it was a scan...i am sure if his status was SCAN....PASSED... you wouldnt have made such a comment?

I don't give a shit really, just made us laugh!!
I used to work with him at Richer Sounds in Leicester 20 years ago, we know each others humour well. he was like having Peter Kay with you at work everyday.  I don't even know if it was a brain scan, probably him winding me up to feel a twat. Just thought I would post that screen grab as it made me chuckle. |

In your defence he worded it wrong. "examination passed" might have been better. Either way someone who has just passed a brain scan isn't going to be too upset about anything.
