iDrive Retrofit
I am itching to perform a mod on my E92 and I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a iDrive CIC retrofit. My car does not have nav currently so this will be a pretty big job.
I need to start sourcing parts but before I do, is there anyone in the DFW area that has taken on a task like this? I've familiarized myself with almost all of the documentation provided on this forum regarding a retrofit and I think it's relatively doable. At the same time, if I could have some pointers I wouldn't mind a little guidance! Also, if you guys know of a good place to source parts for this locally, I'd greatly appreciate it. |

You need to get in touch with Dan, he can source the parts and do the labor for a very fair price. I just bought a house but I have a laundry list of stuff waiting for him next year PM sent

I'll contact him. I just want to get everything in order and make sure I have someone that can do this before I begin to source parts.. I don't want to have a bunch of parts for iDrive that I'm stuck with and never end up using... lol
Has anyone in the DFW area successfully done a non-idrive to idrive conversion? |
