Looking at a 06 plate 320d Sport - tyre wear !

Hello

I am new too these parts

I have been for some weeks looking for a nice 320d m sport within a quite limited 11k budget.

I have managed to find one within budget and went to look at it last weekend.

I picked up a few things which I managed to knock down the price a bit - I also noticed that the inside of the tyre (17") was worn down but the rest of the tyre was fine - pretty sure it will need two new front tyres...

Does this wear just mean the tracking is out ?

thanks

Could be tracking, but assuming you are talking run-flats, sometimes the tyres wear strange. Quite common to see outer front wear, or inner rear wear without a tracking/alignment issue.

Is it front or rear, that is wearing inside?

Ah I see you say front tyres, that could well be alignment issues.

Whatever the issue, it is fairly easily curable. See the threads on:

- KDS (Hunter) 4 wheel laser alignment
- Changing to non-runflats
- Uneven tyre wear
