Throwing several codes after DP install on cobb stg2
OK so Ive had them in for two weeks or so and just got the service engine light. Read them and this is what I got..
P2C7F - lambda probe after cat 2, trimming control P2C6A - lambda probe after cat reversed P2AAF - fuel pump, plausibility PSC7E - Lambda probe after cat, trim control H2F9E - ?? Wondering if the shop put one or both sets of O2's in backwards? No idea what the fuel pump one is about, hoping its not meaning the HPFP is failing. Anyone have an answer on H2F9E? |

NVM found my answer to my last post.
Only other question I have is abou the O2's. I understand the gray ones go in the shorter pipe, but does it matter which one goes towards the front and which towards the back? |

also 2F9E code is thermal oil level sensor. To search codes here just remove the first letter in front of the cobb codes. P2AAF alone is fine. is a result of flashing the car sometimes.

Sounds like you have the o2 sensors backwards. I had a buddy install a Cobb unit on his car and the first 2 sensors were backwards and the reversed code showed up. You might have the 2nd set reversed as well and that may be throwing it off as well.

so you guys think I should get under this thing and just reverse both sets or just one dp at a time? Im thinking both sets are reversed since I have both the 2C7F and SC7E codes. Any one have any insight before I tackle this.. wtf im so irritated right now. Is it particularly bad to be driving the car this way? It is running fine and pulls like a champ.

When my buddy did his install backwards he only had 1 set reversed and the car was stumbling really bad at idle. If you have both reversed it may idle fine since your monitoring the correct sensor but on the wrong bank. I would suggest switching them back if you have both sensors reversed.
Thanks! Michael |

Fix the o2 sensors first, clear the codes, drive around, some codes may pop back up, clear them again, drive around.. eventually they'll go away.
Easiest way to make sure you have the correct O2 sensors in the right spot is to look at your rear O2 sensors in your mid pipes. The same gray / black combination is back there. The pipe with the gray wire should be the same pipe you put the gray wire on your DP's (You can follow it all the way up to your DP's). Hope this helps! |

just go down there an make sure its all right...even if the car seems like its running well its not and is going to mess your car up.
and the bottom o2 sensors cant reach the top ones so you just have to make sure that the gray ones go on the shorter dp (if that is in fact correct color matching) you might as well just take it back to them because if you didnt install them that means you either were too lazy to put them in yourself or you didnt know how to do it...either way you are going to have to uninstall one of the pipes to do it so take it back.
