People in Vancouver that cant drive in snow

I cant help but rant but everyone in Vancouver that insists on driving in these current conditions with out proper winter tires or vehicles (i saw a lowered 350z stuck) can just F**K RIGHT OFF

I helped 2 ppl on my street driving around on all seasons, on top of that they had no idea even how to rock the car out, point the wheels straight etc.....

When I got my E90 x-drive was a must and now I am so happy I didnt compromise. I slapped set of snow tires on and have been driving around no problem.

God help me I hope they make it law here in BC to have winter tires - WINTER TIRES does not just mean SNOW TIRES.

The last few days has just made me so mad I had to vent

Vancourites take winter for granted.

I equipped my M3 with snow tires and it got me to everywhere. If I still had my M3, I don't think my M3 can move out the townhouse complex because the snow is too high. lol

I'm just off Main and we have 20 inches of snow. On the corner in some spots the snow has piled up to almost 3 ft. I'm digging people out left and right, and in fact its the only place I stuck too. Its keeping me so busy I just want to go out and salt the whole frickin' thing.

Merry Christmas 3'ers!

Haha. I got stuck yesterday, with snow tires. I actually managed to rock myself out, but was in a townhouse complex where it had not been plowed at all. Needless to say, it hurt my pride a little bit.

+1

I saw this kid with a 328i with sport package trying to go up a hill near my house. I got out to try to help him push the car but to no avail. Finally he just parked at the side of the road. I think he had all season tires.

i have the agree, people just simply aren't prepared, so many people at my office can't even make it in (only less than half made it in), cuz the transit is just as messed up as people who drive to work...

i am considering when my lease ends on my e92 in 6 months to pick up a X5 so i can plow through all that shit...

man...i've got more anger on Vancouverite driving in the snow. my car got stuck again in the snow today but thankfully someone was helping me out..so we were trying to dig my way out. all of a sudden a X3 (who was driving a bit fast for the conditions that we were having in the residential area) was coming towards me, slipped, and was literally 3 inches away from hitting me. the girl stepped out and we told her to drive slowly and she replied. "i know, but the floor is slippery" ...HELLO!! THAT IS Y U DRIVE SLOWER!!! WE'RE NOT DRIVING BUMPER CARS!

then when i got home, i found my shovel outside of my house on the street. i asked my parents if they left it outside but none of us touched the shovels since 2 days ago. turns out a guy got stuck outside of my house, came into our garage (we have those open tent garages) and just helped himself to one of our shovels and then left it on the side of the road after they're done with it without even asking us for it. talk about rudeness. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr...sorry, wet snow mix with rude people equals an angry me.

When he comes around next time, show him what a shovel can do to his car, other than getting him out the snow.
