If I didn't live like 3 miles from that place, I'd definitely consider taking my business elsewhere.

guys....that's not nice, I work there. The coffee is free...sucks, but it's free.
The place had a bad rap for a long time...being in Newport Beach and all. but the reality of it is that the store is as competative if not more so,than other Orange County dealers when it comes to acquiring a car. REALLY!

I have worked for a couple of other BMW stores. Sterling really is very comfortable and I for one woud be happy to help you in anyway that I can.
No sales turn, real numbers right in front of you, no back and forth....no kidding. If nothing else come by, have a free late' and say hello. Oh, I know something about our cars too

On a completely separate topic, I really want to test drive a Mini Cooper S JCW sometime.

For some reason, I wanted a "grown up" car for the DC area... although slower than the 335, it was faster in the twisties and better mpg as well (in town at least...); not to mention the payment was cheaper. Only rarely do I truly miss it though. I like having a trunk and real four seats.

who's gonna blow the balloons ?

I got a bag of 50 balloons...

Also don't forget streamers....

At the same time, 20-30 BMWs parked together have a way of lifting up the ambience of a place

Don't - you'll be hooked. It's a great autocrosser. The only time a 335 (or anything faster) will lose you is on a straight. Just remember that in a FWD, you *never* lift in the turn. I started to once at 95 and almost rotated it on an on ramp. Needless to say, when I felt the back end start to rotate, I slammed the accelerator down and she planted back down and took off.

Best first mod for a MINI - rear sway bar.

I said, HEY ASSHOLE, I paid like $300 for 'marketing fees' when I bought my friggin car, so why can't you let ME help YOU market your cars a little with the damned banner...ugh...
WTF, they refused free advertisement ?

Which dealership wouldn't want their name plastered all over ??

I live right by Fairfax BMW as well and bought mine from VOB.

VOB was very aggressive with the price.
