Cheap LCI style tail light mod for Pre-LCI E92

Less than $10 for red tint film off eBay and wha-la! This will easily tide me over until I can splurge on LCI tails.

What do you guys think?

I just bought the same thing!!!!!! And was going to do it next week!! Good to see how it would look. That looks great! Did you just put the film over the white part? Or did the whole tail? Because I was thinking I was just going to put tint over the white part. How hard was it?

Easy as pie, I put mine on just the clear turn signal part. Clean it really well, cut to size and stick on!

Awesome, it really looks like LCI without LEDS
thinking about buying, but found only smoked tints.

Thank you

Looking good! Does it dim you reversing lights unduly? Any chance of the eBay link?

On pre-LCI tails, this part that was covered by the film is the turn signal. No dimness issues.

They're not supposed to be passed off as LCI tails, it's more to make them look all red which gives it a much more updated look IMO.
