Replacing downpipes and found oil

I was underneath my 335i reinstalling stock downpipes for some warranty work when I noticed that the underbody plastic near the downpipes was wet with oil. After removing the plastic i noticed the downpipes had some marks on them from what looks like oil dripping onto them. I then noticed a bolt next to the downpipes damp with oil I have attached a couple pictures of this bolt. Any ideas what could be leaking to cause this?

There are a few possibilities for your oil leak:

1. Valve cover gasket needs to be replaced (most likely)
2. Rear main seal on your transmission needs to be replaced
