BSW UF110 installed

New member here, thought I'd share my new BSW UF110 subwoofer install in my 2008 328i Coupe. Installed by SoundWave in San Carlos, CA. Mounted the BSW amp on a plastic mount over the factory amp. Used the CD Changer Trim Panel.

So, how does it sound?

That amp looks like an Arc Audio KS125 mini...

I was thinking the same thing
I have an arc audio clone made by Eton, the MA 125.2
And I was just thinking those controls looks exactly the same in the same locations

I'm not sure what the original brand on the Amp is, it's rebadged as a BSW. Sounds wise, it's a great custom fit plug-and-play subwoofer. It is loud, almost to the point where it has the potential for being too loud. I have the amp set to the lowest setting. Since I didn't dynamat or deaden any panels I get some rattle when the subwoofer really gets booming.

Any LOC in between the OEM amp and this Arc (yes, it is an Arc) amp?

Yes, the LOC comes with the amp/subwoofer package from BSW and ties into the factory amp wiring.

I'm not sure who the build house in on that amp, the same general architecture was used in Elf amps as well.

Glad to hear it's working out well

By "too loud" do you mean that it rattles too much or just overwhelming bass?

It's overwhelming bass. There's no rattle coming from the subwoofer or the enclosure. But it makes some of the car metal rattle since I didn't deaden it.

What parts of the car is making it rattle? Can you do sound clips of how the sub sounds with music and wherever the rattles come from and it could come from. Are you still on stock speakers?
