So, I joined this site almost a year ago I was excited to show off my car! (youll see why that didnt happen in a sec) I was then blown away with all the different looks everyone had and so tucked my tail tween my legs and bought some time to save up and then finally show her off!
I didnt know how bad she was sitting because I'm not an expert but only an avid car lover. (see below to see what I mean) and so after I was referred by a friend to Solo Motorsports in Atlanta and Tony graciously made fun of my stance by stating "we dont work on SUVs"... I knew something had to be done. I did my homework, read reviews on here, talked to Boris and Tony some more, (at Solo) and decided to go for it..KWv3s for my 08 Xi Coupe.. As everyone has said, the floating feeling over 80 mph, the 4x4 look were all deterrents that I was starting to notice. I've had them, the KWv3s, on for about a month now and the difference is night and day. I'm more planted to the ground, absolutely no floating feeling oh and now shes soo pretty..it is however more harsh but not anything to cry over. I slow down on bumps anyhow so I am very happy with it. (oh and yes, thats practically four fingers tween the front wheel gap..I also replaced the back bumper, got angel eyes, and painted the kidneys) And without further ado.....here are the before pics, followed by after pics |

The difference is night and day. Looks great. Shows that all it takes is a drop and wheels to transform a car. Only thing I would recommend is a spacer in the rear, between 5-10mm (though you might need a fender roll if you do that). The front fitment is perfect, just need a little more flush on the rear.

Yea i have to say 335xi suspension is a joke when it named BMW....
I lowered KW v1 and love every minute of it when i take it for a drive. U can use a little spacer in the rear though. Love the wheels A 10mm spacer in the rear and an OEM front lip will set it perfect.

If you run some 265/30 Hankook, Nitto or Toyo, you should be able to fit a 10mm without any mods.

Looks great! I was in the same situation as you with my 08 335xi and went with KW V1's.
What angel eyes did you go with? Don't forget to get some painted reflectors and paint your lower grille black

I had always heard that on the xi's that you couldn't go with the 245's up front, I guess that isn't the case after seeing what you have going on. Absolutely beautiful setup by the way, I really love it!
Major question, what is the effect on the understeer? Do the coilovers do a good job of cutting out the oversteer to a strong degree? |

Be careful with the spacers extending out if you're not rubbing, count your blessings. Had Breyton GTS 20"s put on (lowevered on KWv3s) and I had to roll and trim the fenders for the flush look, not worth all the trouble. Still rub on certain drops in the road.
