M3 style side skirts on my e92 - pics
Hey guys,
As promised here are some pics of the side skirts that I got for my E92. The fit is not bad at all, I am pleased with it, would recommend. Ps the car needs a wash!!! |

Fit looks OK, but I don't like the skirts at all.
As long as you're happy though, that's all that counts

Looks alright to me but they do look a little off colour wise. Maybe it is just the angles on the skirts making it look slightly different?

The colour is fine it's just the car that is in need of a clean lol
Still to put on would be the Aero lip spoiler, new alloys with spacers, m sport rear bumper and possibly lowering springs

Good mods Anthony! What alloys do you have in mind and what springs are you thinking? Get some better pics up of the car's side profile once cleaned since it is slightly misguiding but as you say it's the dirty car

thanks AWBimmer, i was thinking of M6 alloys, maybe even the CSL style as well. however I would prefer split rims with lip.....so not 100% decided yet. I have not looked in to lowering springs yet though as I want to see what it looks like once the lip spoiler and the new alloys have been put. As I rememebr when I had my old R34 and it hated the speed bumps

You can imagine Thomas and Tabitha incandescent with rage. 7yr old Tabitha purloins 5yr old Tommy's Action man and dresses the doll like 'Daddy'. Meanwhile little Tommy goes off raids 'Daddies' car boot, and steals the tools. The Action man now dressed as 'Daddy',has the wheel brace stuffed up it's jaqsy, the tow hook is rammed down one eyed jack and the screwdriver is puncturing 'Daddies' left nostril. Kids,I love em Sorry Anthony, but going off topic, the car looks great, looking forward to seeing the car mods progress

If you get Split Rims with Lip, you'll be forever cleaning them so be prepared! I'm in for a shock when I mount mine on, you'll see soon If yuo're going for split rims, be prepared to fork out. If you get CSL or reps, you'll have saved a substantial amount!! |

Looks good, would be good to see some shots showing the full car.
Are M Sport rear bumpers a straight replacement for the SE or is anything else needed? |

Do you have the part numbers for these supporting brackets? Also, what if the lugs are broken on the M Sport bumper which you're planning to install... is there another way around it?

I have not got the part number to hand, but should be able to get it later. with regards to the broken lugs, it would depend upon how bad they are. I would try to melt solder it or something.

When I fitted my M-sport bumper and Performance diffuser it was a direct fit, you just use the existing fixings. I think twin exit exhaust cars (335's) have all the right fixing points, but the other models you may need the extra brackets. |
