Hello,
Does this looks like a familiar leak? Could it be oil filter gasket? Should I use oil Dye & UV to check? PLEASE SEE PICTURES below. My e91 320i 2011 133k miles. Just had rocker cover gasket and oil filter gasket done 10 month's ago. I am learning the lessons hard way!  Had some work done at a cheap Garage with a mechanic who I don't really trust, but I was broke and it was cheap! Yes probably your OFHG or could also be the valve cover gasket...or both. Welcome to the leaky world of BMW!

Just ordered some Ring RLD4 dye 25ml, will put it in and hopefully locate where it's leaking from!
Also ordered some 5lt Oil and Mann filter kit, I'm guessing I'll need to replace OFHG but I want to confirm with the dye first! |
