Tomorrow's a big day. Bought a 2011 328i at 90k about a month ago and I've finally collected all the parts to do basically all the general maintenance stuff that comes with the miles.

Here's the list:
Oil change
Transmission fluid and filter change
Transmission mount upgrade
Differential fluid change
Spark plug change
Air filter change
Coding the angel eyes as DRLs

It's going to be a long day, but I'm thinking she'll run like a top after! Thanks to the community for all the DIYs... they'll be invaluable!

WHat trans mount uogradeare you referring to?
Nothing crazy man, just some mounts off ECS that are a step above OEM. I have some vibration from that area, I'm hoping it's a $40 fix.

AT and MT mounts are interchangeable.

Waxed the car, after three months of engine work and successful test drive yesterday.

Walnut blasting, turbos replaced, leaking oil pan gasket replaced. All jobs that sucked.

Car runs like new though, so happy to be done with the work.

Wiped down with speed shine and then spray wax.

Wiped engine bay down.

Wash, deep clay bar, wax, polish, buff and seal. Remove wheels, use sonax to completely clean the wheel,
wax wheels. Aside from a few scratches on the rear bumper ot looks great

2011 328i xdrive halos

I tried to change to led’s today on my 2011 328i but the lux lci v3’s didnt seem to fit, anybody know if I got the right or wrong ones? I have halongens not Xenons which is also weird since I was told to buy those but here is a photo of how the halo bulb is and the lux v 3 couldn’t fit
