I checked the site at like 9:45am when I got into work and the registration option was already open. Sounds like the outage began around 10am. What a bummer!

Just tried booking at Best Western Coalinga, and the lady had no idea what the Shift Sector event was and would not honor a discount...

lol no worries you can work it out with them when you check in.

Were you able to register with Shift-S3ctor? Sat, Sun or both?

Actually we did the flex-fuel today instead of meth for right now I'm planning on doing a more detailed review, and there is more to come later this week, but we hit 418rwhp on their mustang with a 50% mixture of E85/CA91 pump. Mods are FBO w/stock midpipes.

Meth will be installed with the single turbo next month

Some pretty sick cars have signed up already. Like last time, quite a bit of the 400-600 HP cars filled in after the initial registration opened and there was lots cars to run with the stock turbo 335's...so if you are thinking about this...definitely do it! You never know if this will be the last one or not.

Adam, thanks for posting this up, love your passion for this stuff Broski. Let's get a strong BMW showing there, with lots of vids, etc. Good to see some 335I guys have already signed up. The Big Turbo 335I's will do very well, as Shiv did last time and Terry's cars always run strong at these events too. It's going to be a lot of fun, looking forward to seeing and meeting all of you at the event.

Welcome to the flex club... I had mine installed two weeks ago along with a rev 3. I also have my meth hooked up. Just waiting on Shiv to get me the new firmware so I can run both flex and meth. Didn't get a chance to dyno, so I'm really liking the numbers you put down. Hopefully with 50% e85 and 100% meth I'll be looking at 450 on the heart breaker (FFTEC Mustang Dyno). But I would be happy with 425...

Look forward to November. Good luck with the single turbo upgrade. I wish I had the money right now, but the way things are looking it will be another year...

This reminds me - does anyone know if there is E85 near Coalinga? I just looked at one of the map sites, and it doesn't look like it.

Looks like we will need to bring e85. Does FFTEC have a trailer? I spoke to Mike the other day, but forgot to ask him. I'm planning on driving down on Thursday so I can get some dyno time on Friday before heading down to the SoCal location for the drivers meeting an pre-registration. Hopefully Shiv will be available...

Not sure about the trailer, I can ask Thursday when I'm there. If you want a dyno, I would just ask Shiv now - they will likely be very busy, but I'm sure they can work something out.

Yeah, I know he's busy with getting the new firmware done for the Flex with Meth, and we still have a few weeks to go... Hopefully by then I'll have my car dialed in. But, I do want to see what my car will do on FFTEC's dyno. That dyno pissed me off at the open house. It was hot, had crap fuel and only 50/50 meth. So it would be nice to see 400+ the next time I get to play.

Oh, I think I remember you now. Is your car blue? I remember Will saying you were disappointed, but yea - it's a heartbreaker

hey, this is Will over @fftec. I will most likely have someone drive my
SUV and load it with 5gal containers of e85 for the event. I was also
disappointed by what my 996TT put down on that dyno.
