how to remove shark fin?

Is it done from inside the car?

Why do you want to take it off? Theres an antenna that protrudes through the roof which is why the shark fin is there.....


But anyway, some painters tape on the roof around the shark fin, a heat gun, and a plastic wedge is how I take it off... You have to be really careful not to dent the roof

thanks i just wanted to make sure its removed from the top. Are the fins held on with adhesives?

Hey man, sorry about responding a bit late, I have had to remove a few of them, you need a few tools, some tools from windshield removal. They are held on with polyurathane glue, same stuff for the windshield, you start from the back of the fin, and once you get that going you can run the blade up the side, if you want some pictures pm me and I will get some to you, its a reall hassele to do this and you run a huge risk of seriosly damaging the paint or body, but if you want some pics of the tools and how to do it ill send them.

Yeah, sounds like something we should stay clear off (just like the great white).

I know this is an old post but I wanted to wrap the phin in carbon fiber and I can't imagine doing it while the phin is on the car!
