Pull the codes and see if that gets you anywhere....But yes, plugs are always the cheapest route to fix a "run of the mill" misfire.

Ok, then leak is probably not from there. Many people who install intercoolers don't get the connections tight enough and after a few days/weeks when things get hot they get a leak.

Going to try plugs as i have read that the plugs can cause it?

That s a serious boost leak, can't see plugs causing this.....I would check intercooler connections even if stock...they can come loose. Next check the vacuum lines that run from the booster line under the valve cover to the vacuum canisters (probably the problem). I took the hard lines out and replaced with high temp silicone lines...mine where cracked in over 4 places if these lines are cracked they will also prevent full wastegate travel (low boost). The canisters the lines go to control the wastegates.

Thanks for the reply, will whip the cover off tomorrow and have a look.

please let us know how that turns out (from a functional standpoint even if it doesn't remedy your boost leak), my lines are fine for now, but the more I think about this, the more it makes sense as a preventative fix. Our engine bays get so hot

I use them everywhere, wastegate lines are usually cracked to...I had the ECS silicone hose lay on a intake manifold for a month and didnt hurt it at all.....must do mod IMHO.

Guys , what size is the vac pipe. Ordered some 3mm but when it arrived it was nitrile rubber. I want silicone in red so just need to confirm the size.
