Talking Let the modding begin.....

OK this should be fun....nothing new to any of you (in terms of mods) here but I'm sure looking forward to it and I'll have this all ready to go by this weekend - thanks for all the posts that helped out:

*JBD: Thanks Mike at N54
*Burger Spacers: 12/15 again thanks Mike
*Tinted windows on Thursday (as light as possible in that my interior is already black) same level all away around
*Black oem kidney grills: Jesse at Crevier Wholessale Parts (great guy)
*Black oem mirror caps: Jesse again

*front plate gone (first thing I did - but damnit they drilled the bumper - two small holes but still)

*now just looking for a good source for an oem style rear deck spoiler (think I'll paint it white)

To say that I have had some pent up mod frustration over the last couple years would be an undestatement / We were really just looking for something that inspired us....we bought the mini as a quick place holder when we got rid of the 550 and took us until now to figure out what was going to hold our interest and passion for a while....the 335D

Things I've done so far:

35% tint all the way around.

Blacked out my chrome around the windows/doors and next to fog lights.

Carbon fiber grille and carbon fiber license plate holders.

Dark charcoal films on side markers and reflectors, light charcoal on rear taillights and clear film on headlights. Tint colour films on BMW hood and trunk ornaments.

Replaced chrome 335d badge with a matte black one.

Replaced OEM halos with brighter white LEDs.

I got the matte black 335d badge for $20 from www.bimmian.com

I was literally 5 minutes from their store/office so just walked in and grabbed it.

The list in the OP is a mirror of mine. Just picked up a 2010 d a couple weeks ago. This forum is giving me all sorts of ideas.
