Quick question, If step 5 is better than step 3 why not do step 5 instead and have room to grow? This would be just connecting the walboro by itself correct. I never run my car past 1/2 a tank so if that is the only con I think I will be doing step 5 instead.

its not worth replacing that POS part, i figure to fill up when gauge gets right below half of a tank, better for the pump anyway.
nothing like running e50 or e60 with these cars . |

part takes less than 5 Mindy to replace...you can do it with bucket in the car...no disassembly.

My stock hpfp went out
I purchased my e92 about a yr ago I just recently found out in a dealer visit that my car received a branded title for being a lemon car due to the fact the hpfp had been replaced multiple times.. I've driven over 10k with no issues now my hpfp went out and I want to know what's a good alternative pump I can use instead of the stock one again so I dont go threw this again Im stock now but planning on a Cobb tune, fmic, down pipes, and exhaust soon. What should I do?

Are you using the submersible line from gates? http://www.gates.com/brochure.cfm?br...cation_id=3006 I have been running mine for ~2000 miles and no issues yet.

curious to hear about why you thought it was degrading or what you saw going wrong..? I installed the 455 lpfp recently with the gates line mentioned above so this is making me kind of nervous... I suppose its a good thing i kept the stock lpfp, I can always try the new inline post regulator pump if this one fails
