BMW Performance Mod Packages

I'm considering having the following items from BMW Performance installed. It would be great to get feedback from those with experience with these mods.

Power Kit

BMW performance exhaust is excellent. I absolutely love mine.

I have heard that the performance exhaust is really worth it for the sound.
However my SA recommended the DINAN tune above the BMW tune.

Sounds really broly. I would get the exhaust for the sound alone.

i love my bmw perf. exhaust... lucky i picked it up almost 1/2 price of what it is brand new. check out f/s section, there may be some good deal

So did everything get sorted out with your ecu? My car's PK install is complete now and I pick it up Thursday morning. Apparently the tech expected to be underwhelmed (first one they have installed) and he reported it is a great package so I'm stoked.
It should feel amazing after the 2.5L Altima I've been stuck in for the past few weeks

Yeah, it took almost one week, but I'm back up and running. I guess there was a bug w/ the ECU and cars built after 12/09. I believe they have the new code available now. You may want to have your tech double check w/ the factory to insure you have the latest and greatest flash for the PK. You'll love it... pure joy.

at least pull the trigger on the exhaust! then think about a JB3 2.0

Thanks! Car goes in the shop on Monday to add satellite. I'm calling them now to order the exhaust. Hopefully they can add the exhaust then too.

Agreed. Do the PE at least. Everyone I've talked to about their PE have only had rave reviews about it.

I've heard that's the way to go as well.. it is a little more pricey, but entirely worth a DINAN badged butt
