07 335i

I have A 07 335i. I'm new to bmws but not audio. Question is this. Does anyone know where I can find an in dash tv setup. I saw one a couple of days ago and did not save the link. Also any tips on speakers, amps, and subs would be appreciated. I have the premium sound now with the center speakers but just isn't enough

there are many side effects to putting in an aftermarket head unit
in these cars be sure you become familiar with them.

Your better off with a aftermarket double din and the metra dash kit than the Dynavin. You'll need a replacement amp since you have logic 7, I'd recommend an ms8 and a JL xd600/6 but if your budget doesn't allow for both you can use either one on it's own with decent results. The combination I mentioned above along with a vibe slick center channel (you could also just steal a tweeter from the rear deck and make a mount for it instead) will be a nice improvement from the stock logic 7 system without even changing the speakers.

I am planning on replacing all of the speakers and will need 2 amps. One for the sub and the other for components

Let me know what u decide to go with, I'm also looking into getting the new Kenwood 7190 but looking around for dash kits and wondering if its easier to add navi + mono amp + sub and leaving the stock hifi speakers/amp working along

Hey Munson,
You may want to check out DIY mobile audio's website. There are some cool set up to reference. http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/...archid=6118350

As you may already know, the E9X cars sound system is pretty good for an OEM. Incorporating JBL MS-8, Audison Bit One, or Motus-Lab's DSP systems are another way to keep the OEM look, but require the least amount of component integration to improve the sound stage.

Other improvements can be changing the the center channel speaker to a quality 4" coaxial (Morel Integra Ovations), slim line sub (Earthquake SWS , Kicker CompVT or SSMB8, Morel SW9) or larger XMAX mid bass drivers (My favorite Pioneer TS-M7PRS) along with a supplement with trunk sub/s (your chioce).

Door cards doesn't provide a lot of depth room for larger speakers to replace the 4" mids. There has been some guys (TMR-oval types) who've swapped out the door's map holder for dedicated 5.25-6" mid-mid bass driver fiberglass enclosures (custom or Jenherts). This setup helps in achieving ideal speaker path lengths.

Continue to look around under different subject headings in the search area. The info is out there, you may need to be more creative in your search. GL, and keep us informed to your progress.
