Sounds like you read the story and then made up a different one. You're about 40% correct.

Fuck foxes, seagulls are where it's at. Big dirty aggressive bastards that get into everything and seem to be getting larger both in numbers and physical size by the day. I hate those big flying shits.

I agree with some kind of humane way of killing foxes. They are a pest around here and seem to be getting pretty bold over the last couple of years. Deer are also a problem. The numbers of them are getting ridiculously out of control and they pose a threat to the other wildlife due to eating all the food. You should also see the damage they can do to a car if you think fox paw prints are bad. I know of at least 3 people that have written off cars from hitting deer in the middle of the road at night.

I've heard foxes have started using Blackberry Messenger to organise attacks now.

They've got too many rights and just don't have respect for anything anymore.

yep! I remember that. Can you imagine your baby being mauled by a fox???
Nice or not...if the numbers are not controlled then they will obviously become a problem for all the reasons people have stated. Its not a question of what is humane or inhumane its about controlling their numbers.

It certainly seemed like that to me at the first post he made. "I killed 37 foxes it's great". Or what have you. Not on.

Other posts have put it into context slightly to be fair. But I don't think killing defenceless animals is something that should be made light of. I'm not a vegetarian, eco-warrior or anything similar don't get me wrong but there's farming or earning a living, and then there's getting enjoyment from murdering something. The tone of the initial post led me to believe Diseasal was suggesting the latter.

If that wasn't the case, I apologise for the abrupt nature of my response.

Also. Odd that the family had a dangerous dog but that it was obviously the foxes. Doing something entirely out of their nature to do, for no discernable reason.

I always thought that one was suspicious. Family didn't want Rover to go the way of Ol' Yeller?

Just a thought.

I was talking to a farmer this week he was moaning at the lack off foxes ,he said they shot 138 rabbit in one evening and said he has never seen so many in 50 yrs off farming,The only plus was the game dealer paid him £1.20p each .

His thoughts are they prefer towns as the dustbin rubbish is easier and the old ladies feed them just making it worse .

A young healthy fox is a nice site out in the fields , a dirty mange ridden town fox is hardly the same thing ..

A fox has a short life and in the wild only the fittest will survive , The urban fox is a pita and will do very well being fed by little old ladies and raiding bins and will live longer and shit every where to mark a area as there own.
