Yep, exactly correct. Thank you for the compliments. I'm not sure if I like all the attention the car gets now - that "Lamborghini Orange" really pops out on a relatively boring car that ~was~ all just silver and black. I guess I am bitchin' that my brakes look good.

Passed emissions this weekend with Catless DPs and Cobb set on stock (stage 0) tune. Just fair warning, they seem to break out the undercar mirror now to check out the cat situation, as long as they see 2 I don't think there is an issue.

Went to Bandi last night. Didn't take my care, but my wife wanted to work on her bracket racing lights. A friend took his bone stock BMW 550GT AWD and ran a 13.2@105!?!?!?

Holy smokes that's quick. I drove a 550xi out at HPR the other day and that thing felt quick, like it would give my 335 a good run in the 1/4mi. Your results show that that to be true.

I was expecting it to match a stock 335 because it felt pretty good. I did not expect it to be faster than my stock+Cobb 335 on 91. Basically I have to be on E85 or have more mods to stay ahead of him. Totally unexpected on a car that heavy.

The Job is really simple, Watch the video a few time and just do it in reverse. The longest part is taking off the damn cowl and such.

Hey Carl - really dumb question, but how do I reply to a specific thread within the list (e.g. I wanted to reply to a comment John made on the "testing" thread)? Do I send it to the list email with the same subject, or am I just missing something really obvious/basic?

TIA.
Rich

It's old school majordomo type stuff. You need to subscribe. Not sure if you can reply to anything from before you subscribed, but if you're seeing it in the archives or something you just reply to the mail and it should put the list address in the To: field automatically. In Thunderbird it lets me choose whether to reply to the individual or the list, but not sure if your email program will do that.

If you can't reply to it because of having not been subscribed when it was sent just paste the part you care about into a mail (after you're subscribed, write whatever response you want and send a new message to turbo-bmw-tech@cdmorris.com.
