Scoops question
Hi guys I just recently bought some scoops for my 335 and was wondering if and when it rains will water enter the engine bay/ intakes?

The ones I got (Cyba) has a slit which will allow water to "drain" before it enters the funnel for the intake... If I'm not mistaken Rpi scoops also have the slit..

Good question. I have aFe scoops but don't drive my 335i unless it's a sunny weekend (got caught in the rain maybe three times). If I had to take a guess, I'll have to say no. I just can't see water traveling in an upward motion to enter the intake piping. Also haven't noticed any water marks or any residue when I removed the intake to install my CP.
