BMW X5 2008 , fix broken suspension or swap car

I got into an accident , and hit the curve. It broke my suspension. And now my insurance adjuster is recommending that I buy a new car equal to the value of my car. And that it won't be safe to drive my car even after replacing the suspension. But I prefer to keep my car since it was specially ordered. It would be hard to find same exact one. What do u recommend .?? Do u think fixing my broken suspension isn't a good idea?

Define "broken suspension"?
Did your strut tower snap in half?

Its really hard to gauge the amount of damage without going into detail about what exactly happened during your accident. Also, the lack of pictures to show the exact damage you are referring to. There are multiple components to your suspension and each part varies in price.

Just a new member who needs help and didn't know how to create a regular thread.

OP:

Pics would help for us to help give you advice, there are a lot of educated members on this forum so I'm sure someone can chime in and help you out once there is more details on the actual amount of damage and what parts were damaged.

Negotiate a good total loss offer since it looks like they don't want to fix it and get rid of the car. I don't care what options are on it. This will save you long term hassle.

Same thing that came to my mind. Honestly the car may never drive the same... If the damage is as bad as it seems i would recommend getting a different car that hasn't been in a collision.
