M5 wheel help

I had this in the tire section but no one would help so I will try here, I want to get some m5 rep wheels for my e90 335. My question is I dont understand how offset works and spacers and stuff. I want to stay with 18 inch because I heard if you go up in size, like 19" then your speedo wont read correctly. So if I were to get 18" m5 reps, what do I get for offset and stuff. Thanks.

I have 19" reps....no issues. Car looks better with 19's. The speedo is off regardless by about 5mph

I know you are asking about m5, not sure if there is much difference. I am also talking about a coupe. Look at magmd's signature (above) and he shows front and rear offsets in his signature (for sedan) that are the same as many people are using on the coupe.

There are lots of people with M6 reps - Front = 19*8.5 - 235/35/19 Rear = 19*9.5 265/30/19.

Front offset 38 - Rear offset 40.

No rubbing issues. I have the wheels and tires myself but won't have the car for about 2 more weeks. Some people get 30 offset in the rear with the M6 reps because it brings the tire right out to the edge, but I like the pictures I have seen with 40 offset on the rear better.

Where are you in MD? I am in Frederick.

Did you end up getting the M5 reps on your e90? I am looking for pictures trying to decide wether I should go with that setup.

Thanks
