New to the Forum and wanted to say hello
Hey Chicago, and other Bimmerpost members! My name is Jeff and I just purchased my first BMW! It's been a long time in the making, and I'm excited to modify and enjoy my 2011 335i Black xdrive sedan for many years to come. My last car was a VW GTI, and while I'm sad to have said goodbye to the workhorse, I'm really loving the N54 E90 Engine and components. Anyhow, nice to met you all, and if any of you have any advice for jumping right in (tires, tuning, etc) I'm all ears. In the meantime I'll keep reading as much as I can.
Regards! Jeffulus (Chi-town!!) |

Quick question fellas. I've been searching for winter tires to put on my stock rims. They currently come stock with 225/45/17 rubbers but I found a great deal on a set of 225/50/17 for the winter. I'm guessing there shouldn't be any problems since it's only small difference but it should fit without any problems I'm hoping. Thank you and have a Happy Thanksgiving weekend!

That shouldn't be a problem, less than 1/2" difference. Speedometer will read slightly slower though.

To the driver of the titanium silver metallic preLCI E92 335xi with the high kick spoiler spotted on Algonquin and 53 south this morning.
I knew you were trying to do a pull, yes the road was open, my oil temp was at 78° maybe next time. Be safe out there! |

Very nice, I'm in Palos Hills. I barely take my 335i out of the garage in the winter either way lol... I'm just looking to see if anyone lives nearby
