Sorry for the crappy video but had to put on a holder. And could not get proper time to find max BHP and torque on my car.
OMFG! SAM THATS AWESOME!

Does the NBT work with the CIC controller? or do you hae to use something else?
I think i want this now lol

I am curious how it measures the power though... ? Any ideas?
No more need for a rolling road haha

You would not believe that I kept that screen on all the time. It does encourage you to be heavy footed though.

Best part is when you drive the car with 4 dials. Two on speedometer and two on NBT. And it looks awesome during the night time.

I am using CIC controller as not fussed about touch controller.

It takes those readings from DME (engine module).

And you are correct, no more rolling road. Though, I will have to drive my car aggressively to check what I get max.

This is amazing. If I had the spare cash I would be sold on one.
It would be interesting to get it on a rolling road and see how similar or far apart they are.

Thanks.

It giving me nearly 575NM torque but BHP is going at 240-250 at push.

Not sure what is the optimal way of testing. Also, I am not sure if it is reading from the DME (considering the stock map) or remapped one.
My car is remapped for 286-290 BHP and it appears that this is undermining the outputs.

It cost me nearly £1500-1600 and there are few things which are not 100% compatible.

Thanks. I must say that its extra toy in the car.
I told my wife that my car is only E9X in UK which has this feature at the moment. She simply laughed as I was telling her a joke.

Yes, with the latest firmware when you select the data linked to DME / Engine module it displays it in Kw.

I've just bought an NBT set to go in my E90. did you use the BimmerRetrofit emulator & does that allow you to code the NBT to your cars' FA or did you do it all via FDL coding?

Sorry, missed this.

I tried different emulators and there was no support from vendors.
Ended up buying the one you mentioned. Tried to help them to develop it further which they promised to add into next version.
I used FDL coding as FA coding will not work, unless you are retrofitting it in F series.

Makkan i have a challenge for you. I'm not even sure if its possible though.

In the newer F10 series, the NBT has tyre pressures (in bar) and tyre temps displayed via idrive for each tyre. Is this possible for you to do? I'm guessing there are some OEM tyre sensors you'd need for the temp and pressures.
