Do they run wide? And if so, how wide are we talking compared to say, Michelin pilot sport A/S 3? Need a quick answer please!

Local tire place is running a buy 2 get 2 free deal on tires and my wheels (219m) are pretty aggressive. I don't want to rub, but they don't have 255's in any tire.

I have these on my e91 with sport package, so 17" staggered, 225/255.

They suck. One summer and the fronts are so noisy you can't hear the radio.
The 255 rears are quite wide, with very square shoulders, doesn't look good IMO.

I have winters on now and they are quiet compared to these BFG's.

I have had the Michelin AS3's as well, they are much better.

I have them 255 all around. I do not find them to be noisy. They work well in dry and wet, haven't tried them in snow. I have been able to overheat them on the street however (hard driving, hot days). They just lose steering feel once you get them hot, still gripped, but you couldn't tell what was going to happen.
