No need for the rain. The Audi A4 comes with skidding package standard Understeer in every turn lol.

Was the extra large steering wheel on the Mercedes an option?

I thought the Mercedes was by far, the worst car there...it wasnt even close. after launch, the damn transmission is hunting for a gear WTF? I can see if I'm braking into a turn, but not at WOT. EPIC FAIL!!!

I'm pretty sure I saw FrancoQ at the Saturday 2pm autocross, but didn't say hi since we've never met before. Surprised he wasn't wearing his BMW F1 pit crew shirt with matching hat
I thought the Audi A4 was the worst -- couldn't get over the superlight steering and nose heaviness of the thing. Took the X5 with the V6 turbo out for the street drive afterward. I really didn't like the previous model, but the latest redesign has me reconsidering it. The check-in staff could have been more well-mannered, however. No smile or greeting -- just a blank stare. Umm.... how about a 'hello' or a 'what can I do you for?' And no signs for which lines were for which -- "Sorry, but you need to go to the other line." Gee, thanks. The driving instructors were a nice bunch though. |

There's an interesting volvo driving event taking place in the Philly area on 10/9 and 10/10. I'm signed up.
For those disappointed with the BMW event in Baltimore, this might just be the cure. There will be a skidpad, drag race and of course timed auto-x. Fastest completed times wins you an ipad. Info on the volvo website, guys. I'm signed up for the 10/10 event.

Mods on the E55? I cut out the primary cats and replaced them with high-flow racing cats, then I deleted the secondary cats altogether and removed the resonator. And the car passed emissions! It makes a nice sound and I've picked up some hp and improved low end torque. Other than that nothing much. I finally found that Brabus lower lip and renntech CF airbox for the W210 E55 I've been looking for but the dude wanted a little too much. I'm still aching to lower the car Hopefully soon...

There's a Hyundai event at FedEx field on the 26th of this month as well. Seems like a decent set up. They are promising nice giveaways. I don't have the details with me now but it might be on the website under Hyundai Uncensored tour or something. I'll provide more details later.
