I recently bought a CPO e92 without Active Steering option but with 19" RFTs. I realized that the car does not have enough gravity feel like a normal BMW should have. So I took it to the dealer and the replace 3 defected tires and 1 bent wheel, but the car still feels the same as before.

I've heard that new tires needs a break-in period, could this be the reason why I feel not enough gravity? Anyone has experience with this? Thanks.

to answer one of your questions, yes, some tires have a break-in period.

Please define gravity... if you're saying steering feel then the standard RFTs does a decent job. Not the best, try getting Michelin PSS or other extreme summer performance tires eg. AD08, RE-11, Direzza Zii, or even semi R compounds NT01, R888 etc.

If all that fails, take out power steering haha, will give you the MOST gravity and buffed arms lol. (Mind you, many of my cars either didnt come with power steering, or i took it out xD)

Does e92 come with power steering standard?? When you say power steering, do you mean active steering?

Wow, suddenly the english skills perk right up. So, if english is not a second language, just what the hell are you on about with gravity? Seriously, you curse like you know what you're saying but gravity and how it relates to tires???? Makes no sense at all.

If dealer looks at the car, gives it a clean bill of health, and you're sure that there is still something wrong, find another local shop, get a second opinion, and if they also say nothing is wrong, then you may have slipped a cog somewhere.

power steering, active steering, steering assist, all fancy terms for almost basically the same thing. Yes, our modern day cars come with some electronic devices that aids us in turning the steering wheel lol. If you really want to, you MAY disable it mechanically (NOT RECOMMENDED btw...) and for sure you'll feel all the "gravity" you want. For sure will make your car more manly to drive.

I do this to my track cars because it actually frees up power (less electronic components, more power to the wheels), btw, i also pull out A/C, Stereo, Carpets, Seats, sound deadening, etc etc.

Look, i mentioned power steering as a joke, i don't expect you to seriously look into taking it away. But if you are determined, give it a shot, it will, as i say, give you tons of "gravity". Cheers

get m3 control arms... stiffer bushings + more camber = better steering feel & responsiveness.

+1, if by gravity you mean "grip", then do all m3 suspension control arm front and back + bushings. Align it with max camber allowable (unless you get camber plates). Better tires, PSS is really good, or any extreme performance summer tires (don't last that long though if DD). If needed, get better shock absorbers or coilovers, springs is your choice really how stiff and low you want to go. Stiffness front and back will affect your overall performance (over/understeer, weight transfer etc), so don't just throw on whatever. Please the forum. Lastly, if you want to, get an LSD, you'll feel much more power and control and grip getting around corners. Final touch up your car with sways and chassis reinforcement if nessesary. Good Luck!
